Anwar to get 74% of votes in PD: survey

PORT DICKSON, Oct 11 (MySinchew) -- An Institut Darul Ehsan (IDE) survey shows that Pakatan Harapan candidate Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will win the Port Dickson parliamentary by-election with 74% of popular votes.

Conducted between September 28 and October 9, the survey also shows that 66% of voters will vote for the same parties they voted in GE14, 19% are uncertain, while 15% say they will not repeat their choices.

IDE deputy chairman Datuk Mohammad Redzuan Othman said in a press conference today that the voter turnout in Port Dickson could reach 60%.

He pointed out that PAS candidate Mohd Nazari Mokhtar and independent candidate Tan Sri Isa Samad would get 11% and 10% of votes respectively.
