End of road for Sarawak BN next week?

  • The new alliance will be neither pro-BN nor pro-PH, but will work closely with the federal government for the sake of Sarawak's development.

KUCHING, June 7 (Sin Chew Daily) -- Sarawak's BN component parties are expected to announce soon their decision to quit BN in order to form a new local political alliance.

According to a source, the new alliance will be neither pro-BN nor pro-PH, but will work closely with the federal government for the sake of Sarawak's development.

From what we understand, Sarawak BN will convene next Tuesday when chief minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg is expected to announce the decision to quit BN.

However, another source says this decision will only be made public after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
