PUTRAJAYA, June 5 (Bernama) -- Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor the wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was seen arriving at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) here today at 10.43 am.

She is expected to give her statement with regard to the ongoing investigation into SRC International Sdn Bhd.

Her first public appearance ever since Pakatan Harapan took over the government after the 14th general election, Rosmah came in a Mercedes without any police escort; however personnel were seen guarding the MACC compound.

Wearing blue baju kurung, red veil and carrying a red handbag, she was accompanied by her daughter Nooryana Najwa Mohd Najib.

They went into the premises hastily without acknowledging members of the media who were clamouring to take photographs of them.

Local and international reporters have been gathering at the MACC grounds since 6.30 am.

On Friday, MACC issued a notice to Rosmah requiring her to come to its office to give a statement related to SRC International.

The notice was delivered by MACC officers at her residence in Jalan Langgak Duta, Taman Duta here.

The Prime Minister's Office recently announced the setting up of a task force to carry out a thorough investigation into 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

SRC International was a subsidiary of 1MDB before being placed under the Finance Ministry in 2012.
