Johnson Lee to be taken to Penang

  • The police have found no evidences of JJPTR's computers being hacked, and tens of millions of ringgit could have been moved by the company to oversea accounts.

KLANG, May 19 (MySinchew) -- JJPTR founder Johnson Lee and his two assistants were taken to Bandar Baru Klang police station at about 8.30 a.m. this morning.

They were subsequently taken to Klang Utara police district headquarters at about 11.40 a.m.

The trio are expected to be taken to Bukit Mertajam, Penang to assist in the investigation of another case.

Meanwhile, the police said they had found no evidences of JJPTR's computers being hacked, resulting in the alleged loss of almost RM500 million.

Quoting the police, The Star reported that tens of millions of ringgit could have been moved to oversea accounts.

Investigation also did not show JJPTR was involved in any foreign exchange trading.
