KUALA LUMPUR, Mar 16 (MySinchew) -- Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said the next-of-kin of assassinated Kim Jong-nam had agreed to let the Malaysian government handle the body of the deceased.

He said the government was still discussing with Kim's family whether to have the body cremated in Malaysia or sent back to North Korea.

Deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said yesterday the government had obtained the DNA sample of Kim Jong-nam's child to confirm that the deceased was Kim Jong-nam, the half brother of North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un.
