Our country has always hated the LGBT community. It's been a problem for years. How they make us sick to the core and prick our conscience!
Enough worrying. Now we, Malaysians, as a nation can rejoice.
LGBT is problem no more. It's disappearing if not gone already for good.
Let it be known our youngsters will not be exposed to such a disturbing lifestyle. They will never turn gay.
Because the screening of Hollywood movie Beauty and the Beast has been delayed. A big thank you to the censorship folks who acted fast and put their feet down hard.
Thank God they detected that LeFou, one of the main characters in the movie, is gay.
OK! The whole world has been talking about Disney's first openly gay character..But at least our censorship guys succeeded in nipping the problem in the bud two long days before screening was to start in theatres the nation over.
Let's take our songkok off to the guys for having saved our youngsters, our fellow citizens, and our entire nation from gayness.
At the time of writing, the fate of the movie which can turn us from straight to gay is not known. Perhaps it will be a total ban. Great!. We will be insulated from the LGBT menace forever.
Or, it will be allowed to be screened with the scenes of LeFou edited out, which will render the movie senseless. Well and good as we will not make head or tail of it. So, what if we burn lots of hard earned ringgit, .sacrificing for the sake of the bigger picture?
Even if the decision to delay screening is reversed, don't despair. It has achieved its objective of putting LGBT in their rightful place and knocking some sense into the heads of fellow Malaysians who have been entertaining the idea of being gay.
And don't worry about what the world is saying about us. Our neighbors, especially. As if we don't know they have been mocking our "Malaysia Truly Asia" slogan for years, laughing us off saying, "Malaysia Truly Taliban".
Come on! Who do they think they are? They are just jealous of us. That's all there is to it.
You know what? We are not alone! Moviegoers at Henagar Drive-in Theatre in Alabama will not be able to see the movie altogether, as the owner has canceled the screening of Beauty and the Beast because of LeFou the gay character.
Yes, it's only one theatre, but listen, this is Alabama we're talking about. Alabama is in Donald Trump's United States of America, not some kampung at one corner of the planet.
Even Americans are thinking like us. Great minds think alike, betul tak?
And the the company which runs the theatre defended its action by saying among other things: "We are first and foremost Christians, and we will not compromise on what the Bible teaches us."
Hang on! I can hear you going "But the government tells us Malaysia is an Islamic country. So why should we be thinking like the Christians in Alabama?"
