KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 (MySinchew) -- Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Commissioner Zainol Samah pointed out that the vigils held in solidarity with detained Bersih 2.0 chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah over the last three days at Dataran Merdeka were illegal, and that the police had opened file to investigate.

Zainol also said the police were hunting down a man to assist in the investigation of last weekend's Bersih 5 rally, but declined to reveal the man's identity.
